Rides on air.
A fully 3D-printed RC hovercraft with separate lift and thrust motors. It floats on its own air cushion and slides over asphalt, gravel, dirt and short grass.
Reserve one of the first ten numbered units with a 50% deposit, in the colours you pick. You pay the rest when your hovercraft is ready to ship.
Built to leave the floor
The lift fan fills a flexible skirt with air, so the hull never touches the ground. Loose stones, cracks and dry grass pass underneath.
Ten serial numbers. Then it's over.
The first ten reservations get serial numbers #001 to #010, printed into the hull, plus a founder card in the box with your name on it. Numbers go out in the order deposits arrive.
Founders pricing ends with unit #010. After that, the price goes up.

Every part earns its place
Two motors do two jobs: one keeps the hull floating, the other pushes it forward. Twin rudders in the airflow do the steering.

Thrust duct
A 5.1″ three-blade prop inside a printed duct, with twin rudders right in its airflow.
Lift fan
A second brushless motor blows down into the skirt and lifts the whole craft.

TPU skirt
Printed in flexible TPU segments. It traps the air cushion and is easy to replace.
Air cushion
With the lift motor running, the skirt inflates and the hull glides over concrete.

Rudder linkage
One servo moves both rudders through a printed push rod.

Electronics bay
Wiring sits on a vented honeycomb deck beside the lift duct, with bullet connectors for quick service.

Battery and charger are not included
Every build ships without lithium batteries, so it can go anywhere by regular mail. Pick these up locally or online:

Before you ask
Why a pre-order?
Each hovercraft takes about a day and a half to print, plus assembly and testing. Building to order keeps the price down and lets us number every unit.
What if not enough people reserve?
Production starts at five reservations. If we're short on the cutoff date, every deposit comes back to you in full.
Will the price go up?
Yes. Founders pricing covers units #001 to #010 only. Later batches will cost more.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel any time before your unit goes into production and you get your full deposit back.
Can I choose other colours?
Yes. Pick from the colour schemes and skirt colours above, or send a message after you reserve if you have another combination in mind. Every colour costs the same.
Are the photos of my unit?
Not yet. They show the designer's original prototype, and the colour preview is a digital recolour of that photo. Your unit follows the same design with equivalent components, and you'll get photos of it before you pay the balance.
Which radio do I need for the Plug & Play build?
A surface radio with at least 3 channels, or an aircraft radio with 4 or more. You'll install your own receiver; we can help you wire it.
Is it a toy?
It's a hobby-grade RC with fast-spinning propellers. Recommended for ages 14 and up, with adult supervision for younger drivers.
