These terms apply when you browse this store or buy from Artic Painthing Studios ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them, together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.

What we sell

We print collector figures and display pieces in resin, to order, in our studio in Canada. Each figure is printed from a digital sculpt that we license for commercial printing from the sculptor named on the product page. Characters from games, films, comics and anime belong to their owners. Our figures are fan art and are not official merchandise of, or endorsed by, those owners.

Product images

Most product photos are 3D renders supplied by the sculptor, shown so you can see the full design. Your figure is printed from the same file, but resin, layer lines, colour and finish can differ slightly from a render. Heights listed for each scale are approximate.

Unpainted kits

Unpainted kits arrive in parts, with supports removed and fully cured. They need gluing, sanding and priming before painting. They are collector models for adults, not toys, and are not suitable for children under 14. Small parts and sharp points can be a hazard.

Painted figures and deposits

Painted figures are pre-orders, hand-painted in our studio. You can pay in full or reserve your slot with a 50% deposit. Before we start printing, we invoice the remaining 50%. If that invoice is not paid within 7 days, we cancel the order and refund the deposit in full. Painting is done by hand, so small differences from reference images are part of the piece. Painted lead times are estimates and we will keep you updated if they change.

Custom quotes and paint requests

Prices shown by the custom quote tool are estimates. A custom order is only confirmed once we have reviewed your files or references and sent you a final price. For files you send us, you confirm that you have the right to have them printed. We may decline any custom request.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless your checkout shows another currency. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout. We may correct pricing errors and cancel orders placed at a clearly wrong price, with a full refund. Payment is taken when you order (or the deposit, for painted pre-orders).

Shipping, duties and returns

Shipping times, customs duties and damaged-in-transit claims are covered in the Shipping policy. Returns, cancellations and refunds are covered in the Refund policy.

Our content

The text, photos, logos and design of this store belong to Artic Painthing Studios or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking. Buying a figure does not give you any rights to the digital sculpt it was printed from.

Liability

We stand behind our prints as described in our policies. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you place your order applies to that order.
